Boothe Eyecare Reviews

My eyesight was already bad by the time I started first grade in school, like all members of my family. At the end the first grade my vision was -3 and when I entered the first course in my university, years later, I had -10 eyesight. For so many years I wore contacts and on the first consultation with Dr. Boothe he explained to me that I can not wear contact lenses any longer. He offered me to undergo a laser eye surgery because it was the perfect solution in my case. I wanted to restore my vision and I agreed that his assistant will make an appointment for my surgery. Before surgery day I could not imagine how my life would look like if I’ll have great vision without contact lenses.

When I went to center the next time, I underwent additional eye tests to ensure my corneas are in better shape and ready for Lasik. Then I went with the nurse into operation room. Before the eye correction surgery began, Dr. Boothe’s assistant gave me special drops for the eyes and recommended using them every day during the first month after surgery.

During the surgery my cornea bled a bit and I found it difficult to focus my sight on the laser. Dr. Boothe calmed me down and made sure that I’m relaxed before he completed the surgery. When the operation was done my eyes were a bit numb and the nurses took me to the postoperative room. Dr. Forty minutes later Dr. Boothe examined my eyes, explained that I’m fine and sent me home for resting.

After a couple of hours I felt better and four hours later all strange sensations had passed. The following day I came back to Boothe Eye Care & Laser Center and I had eye tests (I read the letters of letter board and etc.) Dr. Boothe said that the left eye have the better eyesight then the right eye but he assured me that in a few weeks my vision will improve and stabilize.

Two weeks later I went again to see Dr. Boothe and I had 1.0 in both of my eyes and no post-op problems. I can see clearly in the dark as well as in full light. The whole experience was smoother and less complicated than I thought.
